The Cradle is new to me (thanks Michele @ WFMU), and it seems I'm late, but it sure reminds me of late 90s/early 00s DIY bedroom stuff, K records, Mississippi tape comps – stuff like that. The album is really steady without being stale thanks to the freaky instrumentals.
